What We Treat
At London Hormone Clinic we treat menopause, peri menopause and pre menopause symptoms and conditions using the best possible treatment tailored to the individual patient. Our doctors have many years of training and experience and prescribe in accordance with evidence based medicine.
For any hormone issue or imbalance, our starting point is always the proprietary medications available from any high street pharmacy. These medications will often be available on the NHS.
However, there are many people who cannot tolerate one-size-fits-all hormone medications or do not absorb them. For these people, primarily women seeking HRT, we create bespoke prescribed creams, capsules or sublingual lozenges.
The practice of compounding medications is not uncommon across several therapeutic areas, including dermatology and chemotherapy and the individual hormones contained in any LHC HRT prescription are fully licensed and regulated.
Any compounded versions prescribed by our experienced doctors, are made in a fully MHRA regulated pharmacy.
